On the afternoon of Saturday, June 15, the Ukrainian national team left its Euro 2024 base in Wiesbaden and arrived at Frankfurt Airport, from where it flew to Munich, where the Blue and Yellows will play their first match at the European Championships against Romania next Monday, June 17.
Given the short distance between the cities, 400 km, the flight lasted about 40 minutes. Just like during the first arrival to the tournament in Germany, the bus of the Ukrainian national team was waiting at the gate. So, immediately after the flight, Serhiy Rebrov's team left the airport for the center of Munich, where they checked into a hotel.
It should be noted that the delegation of the Ukrainian national team also included its defender Vitaliy Mykolenko, who suffered a foot injury in a friendly match with Moldova.
Tomorrow, the Ukrainian national team's program includes an official training session at the Arena Munich, where the match with Romania will take place, as well as a press conference with the national team's head coach Serhiy Rebrov and its defender Ilya Zabarny.
