Ivica Kralj, the sporting director of Partizan Serbia, commented on the results of the draw for the second qualifying round of the Champions League, where the Belgrade team will play Dynamo Kyiv.
- We all know how strong the Champions League qualification level is, as well as any of the teams participating in it individually. We have four weeks to prepare for these matches, and we are highly motivated to present ourselves in the best possible way against a quality team like Dynamo.
Tomorrow we leave Belgrade for the second part of the pre-season training. Until July 10, we will play in friendly matches against Champions League level teams, which will help us to prepare better.
We know that it will be difficult against Kyiv, but Partizan is a big club and we have always been ready for such matches. "Dynamo is a team with traditions and an exceptional squad. Unfortunately, we will play a home game without spectators due to a one-game ban imposed by UEFA last season. Obviously, the presence of fans brings a special charm to any competition," said Ivica Kral.
