Today, Girona officially announced the transfer of Braga forward Abel Ruiz. The 24-year-old Spaniard signed a five-year contract. The transfer fee amounted to 8.5 million euros plus bonuses.

Last season, Abel Ruiz played 48 matches for Braga in all competitions and scored eight goals.
