Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez managed to repeat the record of 100 years ago in the Copa America match against the Bolivian national team (5:0).

In the match against the Bolivians, Darwin Nunez scored another goal. Thus, the 25-year-old footballer repeated the record of the legendary Uruguayan striker Hector Scarone, who also scored in seven consecutive matches (from August 1927 to June 1928).
It should be added that Darwin Nunez played 25 matches for the national team, scoring 13 goals.
