Former England striker Alan Shearer commented on Italy's elimination from Euro 2024 after a 0-2 defeat in the 1/8 finals against Switzerland.

"To come to this point in three years is incredible. I was shocked by how badly Italy played. They had nothing to offer, Switzerland just played with them. The Swiss dominated the game and didn't give Italy a chance," BBC quoted Shearer as saying.
