As Sport.ua has learned, this summer Vorskla said goodbye to the Brazilians who defended its colors last season (including Felipe Rodriguez, Tiago Santana and Tiago Cunha).
Only Lucas Pereira, who has a contract until the end of 2025, is in doubt, but according to our information, he is unlikely to return to the club.
Midfielder Felipe Rodriguez was satisfied with the period of his career in Poltava. Even though, according to the player, not everyone at the club treated him and other legionnaires with respect.
"Despite the fact that there is a war in Ukraine, I liked it in your country. I don't know where I will continue my career yet. My contract with Vorskla expires on June 30. I am grateful to the club for everything and wish it only success. However, I have to admit that some of Vorskla's employees did not treat foreigners very well, without respect. It was unpleasant. When you feel supported, things are definitely better on the field," Rodriguez said.
The 28-year-old midfielder (although he came from Novorizontino as a defender and recently played as a center forward) spent two years in Poltava. Last season, Felipe Rodriguez played 22 matches for Vorskla, scored 3 goals and gave 1 assist.
