During the last Ukrainian championship, the referees had to show the players red cards 75 (!) times: 21 to the home team and 54 to the away team.

Footballers were sent off the field by 23 referees, and the most frequently red carded players were Maksym Kozyryatskyi (Zaporizhzhia) and Vitalii Romanov (Dnipro) - 6 times each.
None of the sixteen clubs did without red cards, and Polissya players most often finished matches in the minority - 9 times. Among the 66 UPL players sent off, Anderson Jordan (Zorya) had the highest number of red cards - 3.
