News from the camp of Dynamo Kyiv's opponent in the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League. Partizan Belgrade have accepted the invitation to play in the tournament in Moscow called "Bratskiy Cup", which will also feature local Dynamo and CSKA, as well as another Serbian club - Belgrade.
According to the format of the competition, Partizan will play two matches at the tournament - against Dinamo and CSKA.
"Interesting matches with strong opponents await us. They will show what condition we are in before the start of the Champions League and the Serbian championship.
We need to know what we can do against such teams, because similar opponents are waiting for us in the season," said Partizan head coach Aleksandar Stanojevic at the press conference dedicated to the start of the tournament.
Recall, the first match between Dynamo Kyiv and Partizan will be nominally home for the Ukrainian team, but because of the war will be held (July 23) in Lublin, Poland. A week later, the teams will play the return leg in Belgrade.
