In mid-June, Uzhgorod and Titan Odesa appealed the decision of the UAF Club Attestation Committee not to grant them a certificate to participate in the Second League season 2024/25.

It is now known that "Uzhgorod" will play in the second league, thus returning to professional competitions. "Titan" will not participate.

Next week on July 9-10 it is planned to hold a draw, by then there should be a final list of participants.

There is no information on "Khust" yet - it was reported that the club refused to participate in the first league. Head coach Vladimir Tsytkin said that there will be no merger with amateur "Podolyany", and the club president is trying to find an opportunity to play in the First League.

Earlier there was information that "Kulikov-Belka" from Lviv region, "Revera 1908" from Ivano-Frankivsk, "Probyi" from Horodenka and "Olhovtsy" from Zakarpattya received certificates for participation in the second league - last season they played at the amateur level.

In the second league will take part 23 clubs, which will be divided into two subgroups according to the regional principle.

The base day of the competition will be August 5.
