UEFA has ruled on the scandalous episode involving England midfielder Jude Bellingham in the Euro 2024 1/8 finals match against Slovakia.

Recall, while celebrating the first goal against Slovakia, Bellingham showed an obscene gesture towards the bench of the opposing team.

Interestingly, Bellingham himself later commented on this moment as follows: "An inside joking gesture toward close friends who were at the game. Nothing but respect for the way the Slovakian national team played today."

Now, according to Bild, UEFA decided not to disqualify Bellingham, but the player will have to pay a considerable fine for his behavior - 100 thousand euros.
