Former head coach of Dynamo Kyiv Mircea Lucescu assessed the performance of the Romanian national team at Euro 2024. As a reminder, the team has only one victory - over Ukraine.

It is impossible to miss some moments, you have to constantly gain experience. In general, this championship is a plus for Romania. Football has brought Romania to Europe and given it a different image, completely different from what some people were trying to show. This is an important thing. From now on, we have to take this tournament as a basis. Our players must realize that they can be competitive at the highest level. Our guys made a leap forward, and we have to keep it up. We lost in the end, but it's a lack of experience that will come with time," Lucescu was quoted as saying by Romanian media.
