Marc Cucurella has revealed that he tried to convince his Spanish national teammate Nico Williams to join Chelsea.
Nico WilliamsThe Athletic winger's performances at Euro 2024 made him a hot prospect on the transfer market. The 21-year-old's contract includes a clause worth €59 million.
"He's a great player, he's reaching his full potential. It is a source of pride that he is in our team, that he is our teammate. He would be a great signing, but it all depends on what he wants. I told him to sign with Chelsea. He is a very young player with a lot of experience. I think he would be a great transfer," Cucurella was quoted as saying by the Spanish publication Sport.
