For the sake of Girona, Dovbik turned down an offer with an annual salary of €15 million

As previously reported, the Ukrainian striker of Spanish "Girona" Artem Dovbik decided to continue playing for his current team next season, refusing offers from Italian "Napoli", English "West Ham" and an unnamed club from Saudi Arabia.

At the same time, the authoritative Spanish edition of AS published information that the said club from Saudi Arabia offered the 27-year-old footballer a contract with a salary of 15 million euros per year, but even this was not an argument for Dovbik.

Dovbik's current contract with Girona runs until the summer of 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current transfer value is 35 million euros. At the same time, the amount of payoff for the Ukrainian forward, fixed in his contract with Girona, is, according to various reports, from 40 to 50 million euros.
