England head coach Gareth Southgate commented on the victory over Switzerland (1:1, 5:3 - on penalties) in the 1/4 finals of Euro 2024.

They are a really good team, it's hard to press them, it's hard to defend against them, they move well. To win again we had to show character and resilience, which we showed.
