Hajduk head coach Gennaro Gattuso has backed Ukraine, against whom Russia is waging a full-scale war.

The only thing I hope for is that it ends as soon as possible. It's not fair to these wonderful people and this wonderful country. This is their land, this is their place, where Ukrainians were born, where their parents lived, where their children live. This is your land, and you deserve to live happily.
If you try to look for some positive in this, it is really nice to see the pride that the people of Ukraine are showing," Gattuso said.
