Former Spain midfielder Tiago Alcantara is ending his professional career, according to insider Fabrizio Romano.

The 33-year-old footballer is ready for a "new chapter" in football, but some time after the announcement of his retirement.

Alcantara is a graduate of Barcelona. The footballer has played for three clubs: "Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Liverpool. During his career, the Spaniard played 433 matches, scored 45 goals and provided 63 assists.
