"Shakhtar announce transfer of Croatian midfielder

Croatian defensive midfielder Bartol Franjic will spend the next season with Shakhtar Donetsk.

According to the miners' press service, Franjic joined Shakhtar on loan from German side Wolfsburg until the end of the 2024/25 season. Under the terms of the agreement, the Donetsk club will have the right to buy the player.

Bartol Franjic is a graduate of Dinamo Zagreb, who made his debut for the main team in July 2020. In the 2023/24 season, he played on loan for Bundesliga club Darmstadt (20 matches, 1 assist).
