Inter Milan has officially announced the signing of Genoa goalkeeper Josep Martinez.
Josep Martinez. Photo by @Inter_enThe 26-year-old goalkeeper signed a five-year contract that will run until the summer of 2029.
The amount of the transfer was not disclosed, but according to preliminary information, Inter will pay about 13 million euros plus an additional 2 million euros in bonuses.
Last summer, Martinez moved to Italy from RB Leipzig for 3.5 million euros after spending a year on loan with the Genoa team. During his time at Genoa, he played 36 matches in Serie A, conceding 43 goals.
