As it was already reported, Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Serhiy Buletsa moved on a one-year loan to Lechia from Gdansk. However, the 25-year-old footballer will not be able to play for this team in official matches.
Sergei BuletsaThe fact that "Lechia" is currently under a transfer ban from FIFA, the reason for which was the debt to Slovakian "Ružomberok" for the acquisition of Tomas Bobchek from this club a year ago.
At the same time, Lechia did not violate the FIFA ban by renting Buleca, as it does not apply to the signing of players, but only to the registration of newcomers in official competitions.
That said, Lechia issued a short statement the other day in relation to the transfer ban, assuring that the problem will be resolved soon.
"We would like to inform you that the temporary ban on player registration imposed by FIFA on Lechia concerns financial settlements in relation to Slovakian club Ružomberok and will be lifted immediately after the payment, which will take place in the next few days," Lechia said.
We would like to add that Lechia will play their first official match of the 2024/25 season next Friday against Szląsk in the 1st round of the Polish Championship.
