The Ukrainians started more confidently and opened the scoring in the 14th minute. Kyiv earned a free kick near the left corner of the penalty area. Buyalsky made a power pass to the near post, where Denis Popov headed the ball into the net. 1:0. Dynamo continued to be more active, including in the selection.
After the half, the pace of the game slowed down. Although in Austria at the time of the match was just a paradise compared to Ukraine - about +22. At the same time, real fires broke out from time to time at the gates of Kyiv. So, in the 37th minute, the defenders forgot right in front of the goal Omoyanfo, who, after a pass from the depths, naturally shot Neshcheret, fortunately scoring above the goal. The Blue and Yellows had a similar moment at the end of the half when Karavaev, after a multi-pass move, shot from 10 meters, but hit the goalkeeper.
The second half for Dynamo began with a free kick from Brazhko past the goal. Then it looked like after the break Kyiv gave the ball away and, apparently, practiced the game on counterattacks. But for some time it was not so good. Finally, in the 71st minute, Pikhalenok found himself in the place of the right forward, shot back to the semicircle, Lonwijk passed the ball to Anton Tsarenko, who scored exactly. 2:0.
Four minutes later, the Danish goalkeeper "played Noer": having gone far, he gave the ball directly to Oleksandr Andrievsky, who calmly threw it over the keeper into the frame. 3:0. A few minutes later, Andriy Yarmolenko reached the goal line, stopped, looked and accurately passed to Oleksandr Pikhalenko, who calmly hit the goal. 4:0. A confident result for the Blue and Yellows against a not-so-skillful opponent.
