England head coach Gareth Southgate will be able to decide for himself whether he will remain in the position of the national team's coach.
According to the HITC portal, the FAA has made it clear to Southgate that he can continue to lead the England national team. Moreover, he will be offered a new deal if he wants to continue working with the team and prepare it for the 2026 World Cup.
Nevertheless, according to the source, Southgate is still more inclined to resign as head coach of the national team after the defeat in the Euro 2024 final by Spain.
As a reminder, Southgate has been in charge of the England national team since 2016.
