The head coach of Belgrade Partizan Aleksandar Stanojevic, summarizing the results of his team's preseason, touched upon the topic of the upcoming matches with Dynamo Kyiv in the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League.

The first game of the season is the hardest (we are talking about the match against Napredak this Friday in the 1st round of the Serbian championship - ed.). We have to show our 100 percent and even more in this game. And we certainly cannot afford to think about Dynamo Kyiv right now. We need to have an extraordinary energy for the start.
If we talk about our start in the Champions League qualification, then Dynamo Kyiv corresponds to the level of Dynamo Moscow, which we met recently (we are talking about the friendly match - 2:2, on penalties - 4:2 - ed.). This is the kind of game we can expect, a game with high intensity and open soccer. It will be a difficult match against a tough opponent.
What do we lack the most right now? We need to be a bit more dangerous in attack. We hardly created any threat to the opponent's goal in the friendlies against Dynamo Moscow and CSKA Moscow. We hardly attacked the opponent's penalty area and spent too little time in the final third. In addition, we need to improve our movement without the ball both when playing attacking and not defending," said Stanojevic during yesterday's press conference.
Recall that the first match between Dynamo and Partizan will be held on July 23 in Lublin and will be nominally home for the Ukrainian team, while the return match will be held on July 31 in Belgrade.
