Dynamo Kyiv has signed 18-year-old Georgian Aleksandre Peikrishvili from Dynamo Tbilisi. As far as I understand, this is a midfield player, of Mykola Shaparenko's profile. At first, Peikrishvili will play for the youth team from the capital of Ukraine, and then it will be seen.

Alexandre trained with the first team, but never made his debut in the Georgian championship. He played consistently for the second team of Dynamo Tbilisi. He is the captain of the Georgian national team of his age.

"Dynamo Tbilisi has serious financial problems. Therefore, it is ready to say goodbye to its talents for very little money. The first-team captain almost joined the Cherkasy LNZ in the winter. "Dynamo Tbilisi needs money.

The first team of Dynamo Kyiv has too many central midfielders. The competition is fierce, even if Mykola Shaparenko is sold. The situation in the youth team is similar. There is Roman Salenko, born in 2005. Kirill Osipenko and David Bilyi, born in 2000 and 2006. 2007 - Bohdan Redushko and 2008 - Pavlo Lucin. All of them have the potential to reach the first team and the national team. Plus, Ramik Hajiyev and Danylo Khan are being wooed to the team. Competition is great, but too many players does not do any good. I know from Croatian football that in Dinamo Zagreb or Hajduk in the youth teams, Croats are always given priority, and legionnaires come later.

Dynamo had a very good story with Kakha Kaladze. They brought in a newcomer who very quickly became a main player and was sold for a lot of money. Then, from time to time, players from Georgia came to Kyiv, but no one was able to repeat Kaladze's path.

The latest example is Gio Tsitaishvili, for whom there were great expectations, but today he plays only for Dynamo Batumi. He hasn't shown anything in Poland before. The problem with Georgian footballers is indiscipline, lack of character, and a desire to work hard.

Shakhtar had very talented Tornike Okriashvili and Giorgi Arabidze. Players with great potential, but absolutely no character. Without this, it is impossible to play football at a high level. You need stability, not dependence on mood.

There was a certain period in Europe when there were almost no Georgians in the strong championships. The only one who showed promise was Ghent midfielder Giorgi Chakvertadze. Today, Chuck plays only in the Premier League for Watford. A lot has changed since Kvicha Kvaratskhelia's transfer to Napoli. Each club wanted a new Khvicha. An inexpensive player with great potential. Plus, Giorgi Mamardashvili is playing very well for Valencia. The Georgian championship is weak. Local clubs are ready to sell their talents for down-to-earth money. That's why Georgians have once again become relevant and on the radar of European clubs.

Now there is a new generation of footballers from Georgia. They won't go out, they don't need to be forced to train, and there will be no scandals if they don't make the first team. These are mentally completely different players. They are the most professional players, who do not put football on the back burner after receiving the first big money. For example, Peikrishvili does not speak Russian, only English.

"Shakhtar signed two wingbacks - Irakli Azarov and Giorgi Gocholeishvili. I wouldn't say that they are top players with great potential. But for the money they are quite good players. I understand that this is the work of the current chief scout of Polissia Anatolii Volkov, who used to work for Shakhtar and knows the Georgian market very well. Georgian Giorgi Maisuradze came to Zhytomyr in the summer. "Dynamo Kyiv also needs to have a presence in Georgian football, to monitor the local market. Not for all the money in the world can you find very interesting players there. Plus, they won't be afraid to come and play in Ukraine.
