Mauricio Pochettino can lead the England national team

Former Chelsea coach Mauricio Pochettino may take over the England national team.

According to a source, the Football Association of England (FA) is open to inviting a foreigner, although it prefers to appoint a local specialist. Pochettino would be happy to start negotiations. The Argentine specialist is currently looking for a new job after leaving Chelsea at the end of last season.

Pochettino knows FA technical director John McDermott, who was in charge of Tottenham's academy when the Argentine coach worked with the Spurs first team.
