Already on July 23 Dynamo Kyiv will start the Champions League season-2024/25: in the 2nd qualifying round of the tournament the Bilo-Syni will play their first match against Partizan Belgrade.
In case of successful overcoming this stage, one of the following four teams will become Dynamo's opponent in the third qualification of the Champions League(more information about the seeding before the draw):
"Rangers" (Glasgow, Scotland)
"Slavia" (Prague, Czech Republic)
"Salzburg" ( Austria)
"Lille" ( France).
In case of failure with Partizan, Dynamo will continue their fight in the 3rd qualifying round of the Europa League. 26 teams will take part in this stage of the tournament, which will be divided into two paths: "The Way of Champions" (12 teams-champions of their countries, which will not be able to overcome the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League by the way of champions) and "The Way of Non-Champions" (10 teams participating in the Europa League qualification and 2 teams, which will not be able to overcome the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League by the way of champions).
If Dynamo ends up in the Europa League, it will be among the seeded teams at the draw of the 3rd qualifying round, and the possible opponents of Kyiv will be the following teams.
1. Lugano (Switzerland) - Fenerbahce ( Turkey), who lost in the pair of the 2nd Champions League qualification.
2. "Servette (Switzerland)
3. Winners of the pairs of the 2nd qualification pair of the Europa League:
"Rijeka" (Croatia) - "Corvinul" ( Romania)
"Trabzonspor" ( Turkey ) - "Ružomberok" ( Slovakia)
"Serkl Bruges" ( Belgium ) - "Kilmarnock" ( Scotland)
"Panathinaikos" ( Greece ) - "Botev" ( Plovdiv, Bulgaria).
We would like to add that the draw for the 3rd qualifying round in all three European Cup tournaments will be held next Monday, July 22. The Champions League draw will start at 13:00 Kyiv time, the Europa League draw will start at 14:00 Kyiv time.
