Former Dynamo Kyiv head coach Oleksiy Mykhailichenko expressed his opinion on who should replace Dnipro 1 in the Ukrainian championship.

Consequently, it is very difficult to determine which of them is correct. We can take into account both the rating and the place in the table, and I have also heard about a mini-tournament with the participation of four teams. However, when to hold it and how it will be - it is hard to imagine. Personally, I am disappointed that such a change has to be made just before the start of the championship. But the most important thing at this stage is to have 16 teams playing.
And I will say this: no matter what decision is made in this matter, there will be dissatisfied people. In my opinion, the candidacy of "Minaya" is probably optimal for today. I remember well the spring part of the last championship, in which the Transcarpathian team looked very convincing. If it had been more active and productive in the fall part of the season, it would not have come to the spring overpowering.
Minaya has its own stadium, and many games are played in Uzhgorod. So, if we take into account different factors, the Transcarpathian team as a replacement for Dnipro-1 is the best option.
- What do you think about what happened to Dnipro-1?
- I feel very sorry for Dnipro-1. The city of Dnipro without a Premier League team is nonsense. We live in such a difficult time, and this happens, it is very disappointing. It is a pity for the Kharkiv team. But we can not ignore the realities in which we live.
In my opinion, the issue of replacing Dnipro-1 could have been solved somewhat differently, but the lack of time, opportunities and funds imposes a corresponding imprint on this topic. Therefore, it is very important to find compromises in such situations.
