Partizan Belgrade defender Nihad Mujakic said what he thinks about the first match against Dynamo Kyiv in the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League, which will take place today in Lublin.
Nihad Mujakic"Without a doubt, this is an important match for Partizan. We have been preparing for it as much as we could, analyzing Dynamo. But in any case, the most important thing is our attitude and mentality: in every game we strive to win.
We have a lot of new players, and it takes time for all of them to play and understand the requirements of the head coach. After Friday's match with Napredak (1:0, 1st round of the Serbian championship - ed.), we were only busy with recovery - there was no time for anything else. And now we are all focused on the match with the Ukrainians.
During the pre-season preparation we played with teams of Dynamo Kyiv level (Partizan played friendlies with Dynamo, CSKA and Lokomotiv Moscow, as well as with Slovenian Bravo - editor's note). In each of these meetings, both teams tried to play the game, while in the domestic championship our opponents mostly play without the ball. So, I think the game against Kyiv will be interesting and useful for us," Mujakic was quoted by Partizan's official website.
