The tournament among U-19 teams is held in Ostrava, organized by the academy of the local football club Banik.
It was against Banik that Ihor Kostiuk's team played their first match in the tournament.
In the first third of the match, the teams were quite cautious. The game was affected by heavy rain, which began shortly after the opening whistle.
Dynamo opened the scoring in the 33rd minute as a result of a vertical attack. Aleksandre Peikrishvili, for whom this match was his debut with the team, passed a cross into the penalty area to Vitaliy Lobko, and he scored a great shot into the near top corner.
And in the last minute of the first half, Peikrishvili marked his debut with a goal. After Kremchanin's cross from the right flank, the Dynamo newcomer outpaced his opponents at the far post and headed the ball into the far corner, in front of the goalkeeper.
In the 59th minute, the Czech club reduced the deficit by scoring on a corner kick. The first header from the corner hit the crossbar, and Banik's No. 14 was first on the ball after the rebound.
However, four minutes later, Dynamo again extended their lead to two goals. Syzonyuk made a great vertical pass from the right flank across the halfway line, putting Lobko one-on-one with the goalkeeper, and the latter sent the ball into the net with his first touch.
In the remaining time, Banik attacked a lot, but the White and Blues played well in defense and did not allow the opponent to revive the intrigue in the game.
The White and Blues will play their second match in the tournament on July 25, when they will meet Slovan Bratislava.
