Shakhtar Donetsk and Danish side Copenhagen have announced the transfer of the Pitmen's Georgian defender Giorgi Gocholeishvili on loan.
Giorgi GocholeishviliThe 23-year-old will play for his new team until the end of the 2024/25 season. At the same time, Copenhagen have an option to buy out the transfer rights to Gocholeishvili.

Giorgi has been playing at a consistently high level for a long period of time, and recently he showed himself very well in the national team of Georgia at Euro 2024", - commented on the transfer of Gocholeishvili sports director of "Copenhagen" Sune Smith-Nielsen.
According to Transfermarkt, Gocholeishvili's rent will cost "Copenhagen" 400 thousand euros. The Danes will be able to activate the option to buy the transfer rights to the player if they pay Shakhtar 2.5 million euros.
