On Wednesday, July 31, the second match of the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League will take place, in which Partizan Belgrade will host Dynamo Kyiv. During the pre-match press conference, the head coach of the Serbian club Aleksandar Stanojevic talked about his team's preparation for the upcoming match.
On the upcoming match:
"After a disappointing performance in the first match, we will take to the pitch tomorrow to impress. We are to blame for the bad result in Lublin, so we need to fight to rehabilitate ourselves. We will fight for the Partizan crest. Every game in Europe is important, both for Serbian soccer and the odds. We will go into the match with a lot of energy!".
On the team's chances of reaching the next round:
"Hope dies last, but the reality is very different, especially when you don't have the support of the fans. In soccer you never know if you will score an early goal, but the most important thing is to show that we are fighting for Partizan."
On the personnel situation in the team:
"Only Arriaga is in question. There will be changes in the team and all the players have to prove themselves. The most important thing is to become better in defense, and in attack we have potential."
