It's official. Jake O'Brien is an Everton player

English club Everton has officially announced the signing of Lyon defender Jake O'Brien, the Toffees' press service reports.

According to the source, O'Brien's contract with Everton is valid until the summer of 2028. British media report that the Merseysiders paid about 17 million pounds for the 23-year-old defender.

We would like to add that the acquisition of Jake O'Brien became the fifth for Everton in the current transfer window. Prior to that, the Toffees signed Jack Harrison, Jesper Lindström, Tim Ayrogbunama and Iliman Ndiaye.
