Former Dynamo Kyiv coach Mircea Lucescu will soon take charge of the Romanian national team.
According to Fanatik.ro, Lucescu had a three-hour meeting with a representative of the Romanian Football Federation, during which the parties agreed on all issues regarding future cooperation. The specialist will sign a contract with FFR for 2 years - until the end of the World Cup-2026.
It is also known that Lucescu's salary will be 27 thousand euros a month, but the coach himself did not even raise the financial issue during the meeting, because he is not interested in money.
Recall, Lucescu was previously head coach of the Romanian national team - 38 years ago (from 1981 to 1986). Under his leadership, the team reached Euro 1984.
