Chelsea London has officially announced the signing of Villarreal goalkeeper Philippe Jorgensen, the Blues' press service reports.
Philip JorgensenAccording to the source, Jorgensen's contract with Chelsea runs until the summer of 2031. The amount of the transfer was not disclosed, but according to journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano, the Blues will pay Villarreal 24.5 million euros.
"Joining such a big club is a dream come true. I am very happy to have signed a contract with Chelsea. It is one of the biggest clubs in the world. I can't wait to meet everyone and start playing with my new teammates," Jorgensen said in an interview with Chelsea's official website.
