The Scots are really impressed with the way Dinamo easily defeated Partizan with a total score of 9:2 and are worried that Rangers will not be able to do anything against such a strong opponent either. The Scots believe that their team is not strong enough at the moment and lacks experienced players who could strengthen it, so that Rangers could really qualify for the next round of Champions League qualification.
Rangers fans are also unhappy that their club will play Champions League matches at Hampden Park, where the Scottish national team usually play, rather than at their home stadium, Aibrox.
Gair: "Dinamo won against Partizan with a total score of 9:2 on the sum of two matches. I get scared when I remember how our defense plays, which became even weaker this summer. I hope we will not repeat the fate of the Serbian club and resist the Ukrainians.
Hill: "Dinamo" is a team with a great history, as well as "Rangers". But if our club continues to disappoint the fans lately, Dinamo is now reviving and gaining its former strength. And all this despite the fact that Ukraine has been at war with the Russians for many years. This is an example for us that we should never give up and believe in the future of our team.
Copeland: I like the city of Kiev. I have been there 5 times before the war started in Ukraine. It is sad that now it is dangerous to go there, so Dynamo play their home matches in Poland. I hope everything will get better and we will play with them again, but in Kyiv.
Allan: I understand that Andriy Yarmolenko is the main star of the Ukrainian team. He even played for West Ham in the English Premier League, even if unstable. Although it was quite a long time ago.
David: I heard about the World Cup for the homeless, but I didn't know that there is a Champions League for the homeless. It's strange that two teams that can't play in their own stadium met.
Ames: It will be very hard against Dynamo, especially if we don't manage to sign 3-4 players. Ukrainians simply destroyed Partizan. I hope that we will be better prepared for the matches against Dinamo.
Mark: I pray to God that we will still be ready for these two matches with Dynamo in the Champions League. Because we played shockingly bad in the pre-season and it makes me worry.
McWhinnie: With the kind of players we have, we're in trouble. Judging from what I saw in Dinamo's games against Partizan, we are in for some very tough games in which we will definitely not be the favorites.
Bortwick: We have no chance against them, they are playing so well at the moment that I'm even a little scared. The main thing is not to embarrass ourselves like we did with the Serbs, who conceded 9 goals in two games.
Russell: Judging by how many Ukrainians live in Scotland, Dynamo will have a good support. I won't be surprised if Celtic fans will also come to cheer for the Ukrainian club to spoil our mood.
Scott: Nine goals scored against Partizan make me nervous. Even if we assume that the Serbian club is not in the best shape, this number of goals is impressive anyway. "Partizan represents a pretty strong soccer country after all. It is not Andorra or San Marino.
Kenneth: The first match with the Ukrainians will be held in Poland on August 6. There is still time to buy tickets to Lublin. I have never been to this city, but I would like to support Rangers at the stadium.
Ferry: I don`t know anything about Dynamo, but I think that any opponent looks dangerous for Rangers now. Because the main problem is us. Again we fail to sign newcomers in time, and then we will be surprised that we started the new season poorly.
Dougie: Yeah, the season is off to a hot and heavy start for the Rangers. We need to play our best soccer to get past such a tough opponent. I think we've got the most powerful team possible at this stage.
Crawford: I've already prepared my legendary flask and I'm ready to go to the stadium. If Rangers get through to the next round, I'll be drunk with joy. If they lose, I'll drink with grief. It's a win-win.
James: 37 years ago we played against Dynamo and won at home. What great times those were for me and the team. That season "Rangers" reached the quarterfinals of the European Cup. Now we can only dream of such achievements.
Finley: There is no hope from what I have seen in pre-season. "Rangers" looks terrible, I can't even imagine how we can beat such a strong "Dynamo".
Bridges: We have already planned a trip to Poland. We did it after the first match between Dynamo and Partizan. We have to fly from Glasgow to Luton on Sunday. We spend a night there, then fly to Katowice on Monday, hire a car and drive 3.5 hours to Lublin, 2 nights there and then 1 night in Katowice before flying to Luton on Thursday and then back to Glasgow. It will be a great adventure but the soccer will probably spoil it, as always.
Duncan: The Rangers defenders are not playing any better than the Partizan defenders. I won't be surprised if Dinamo score 9 goals again, but already against our club. Unfortunately, this is too strong opponent for Rangers. But hardly anyone believed that we could make it to the group round of the Champions League.
Bazzaboy: I am shocked! It turns out that Dynamo made it to the next round, scoring nine (!) goals against Partizan. I'm already starting to think that it would have been better if we had gotten to the Europa League qualification. At least there are no such terrible opponents there.
