"Bologna have officially signed Croatia defender Martin Erlić from Sassuolo.
Martin ErlichThe 26-year-old replaces Riccardo Calafiori, who recently joined Arsenal. The transfer cost Bologna about seven million euros plus bonuses.
Erlich spent almost his entire career in Italy, leaving the Croatian Rijeka and joining the Parma youth academy in 2014, and then moving to Sassuolo with loans to Suttiroli and Spezia. It was at Spezia that Martin worked with coach Vincenzo Italiano, with whom he has now been reunited at Bologna.
