UAF President Andriy Shevchenko congratulated the Ukrainian women's sabre fencing team on winning gold at the Olympic Games.
"The first gold medal for Ukraine at the 2024 Olympic Games. Olga Harlan, you have won Ukraine's first medal at this Olympics, but of course everyone was expecting more. We were waiting for our first gold! Alina Komashchuk, Olena Kravatska, Yulia Bakastova and Olga Harlan, congratulations, you are great," Shevchenko wrote on his Instagram page.
