On the eve of the start of the Ukrainian championship in the 2024/2025 season, former Ukrainian national team player Oleh Shelayev spoke about the prospects of the newcomer to the UPL, Kyiv's L'viv Bereg.
- "I don't know how happy Left Bank is to be in the Premier League. Of course, this is an achievement. But they will have to get used to the fact that every game will turn into a test for them. There is no room for error at this level. Every game is about survival. If they are ready for it, it's good. If they get nervous during the season, it will be difficult for them. But they will need to accept the new reality with their heads held high and suffer somewhere. They won't always be able to dominate, they will have to defend more - and they have to be ready for that," Shelayev told UPL TV.
