Mircea Lucescu became the oldest current coach

Former Dynamo Kyiv coach Mircea Lucescu became the oldest active coach when he took charge of the Romanian national team today.

Now the specialist is 79 years old, and all other coaches who work with professional teams are younger than him.

Until today, the oldest active coach was the famous Dutchman Dick Advocaat, who is now at the age of 76 in charge of the national team of Curacao.
