The captain of Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, midfielder Dmytro Khomchenovskyi, spoke to journalists before the first match of the third qualifying round of the Europa League against Czech side Viktoria.
Dmytro Khomchenovsky- First, I want to express my gratitude to our Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to be here and play in European competitions. As for the game, we are serious about it. We understand what tournament we are playing in and we intend to stay here. We know who we are playing against. We are considering the opponent's weaknesses.
Of course, we would like to play at home, in Kryvyi Rih, because it is a big holiday for the city and the club. But, as Yuriy Vernydub has already said, he knows better than anyone where it is really hard. That's why we don't think about where to play. We just come out and show that we want to fight the way our guys, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, are fighting now," Dmytro said.
