Lee Carsley, former head coach of the England youth team, has been appointed acting coach of the national team.
Lee Carsley (photo: ap.com)The English Football Association said in a statement that this appointment is temporary. Apparently, Carsley will coach the England national team in the matches of the League of Nations, which will take place in the fall.
"It is a great honor for me to be temporarily in charge of the England national team," the 50-year-old specialist said in a statement.
