Cesena, a football club that plays in the Italian Serie B, has announced the signing of 24-year-old Bologna center forward Sydney van Heijdonk.

Sydney van Hooydonk joined Bologna in the summer of 2021 from NAC Breda for 735 thousand euros. He played 16 matches for this team, scoring 1 goal. Subsequently, he played on loan for Heerenveen and Norwich.
Sydney van Heudonk is the son of the legendary former Dutch national team forward (46 matches, 14 goals) Pierre van Heudonk, who currently serves as a member of the Supervisory Board of NAC Breda.
"Last season, Cesena won promotion to Serie B, having successfully performed in their Serie C group.
