UAF President Andriy Shevchenko in an interview at the Ukrainian house Volia Space in Paris assessed the performance of the Ukraine U-23 national team at the 2024 Olympics, as well as in general the success of Ukrainian national teams this summer.

And of course, the Olympic team that qualified - that was one team, and the team representing Ukraine here - a little bit different. Some players cannot leave the club because of the complicated rules between FIFA, UEFA and the Olympic Committee. But we try to show the most competitive team.
I personally attended the second game against Morocco. It was a great game, we scored the winning goal in the last minute. I think we can say that it was a very good, very interesting game of our team.
Everything was interesting until the last minutes, everything depended on the results of the last game. So I think these competitions were good for us," Shevchenko said.
