The first coach of Girona and Ukraine forward Artem Dovbyk, Serhiy Kovalevych, commented on his move to Italian side Roma.
Artem Dovbyk- "Roma is a step forward for Artem. This is a much more famous club than Girona. And it is financially stronger. Artem deserves this move. However, I must admit that I am not happy about Dovbyk's move to Italy. I could see his future development in Spain, England or Germany.
I believe that Atletico would be a better option for Artem than Roma. First of all, it is a club from Spain, and in this country Artem has already adapted, become the best scorer and earned a name for himself. Changing championships is a risk, but Artem agreed to it. Secondly, Atletico will play in the Champions League, while Roma took sixth place in the Italian Serie A and will only participate in the Europa League," Kovalevych said.
