Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva commented on his missed penalty shootout against Manchester United (1-1, penalties 7-6) for the English Super Cup. The Portuguese was the first to get to the mark for the Citizens, but failed to convert the penalty.
"Pep has already told me that I won't be taking penalties anymore. So you guys don't have to worry about it!" the Manchester Evening News quoted Silva as saying.
It will be recalled that it was Bernardo Silva's shot that was saved by Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin in a series of post-match penalties in the 1/4 finals of the Champions League in the 2023/24 season.
