Girona midfielder Viktor Tsygankov may still leave the Spanish club this offseason.
According to AS, Girona has rejected several offers from English clubs for Tsygankov's transfer, but has not informed the player himself. This decision angered the Ukrainian, who has always been loyal to the Catalan club during his time with the team.
"Girona does not want to let Tsygankov go, as it has already sold several leaders this summer, including Dovbyk. Despite the fact that EPL clubs, including one from London, are ready to pay a clause of 30 million euros for the player, Girona's management has rejected these offers.
It is expected that the situation may change in the near future, as Tsygankov has not yet made a final decision on his future. If the clubs fail to agree on a transfer, the Ukrainian will not force his transfer, as he wants to leave Girona only on favorable terms and without a scandal.
Last season, Tsygankov scored 8 goals and 7 assists in 34 matches for Girona.
