UAF President Andriy Shevchenko commented on the end of cooperation with the former coach of the youth national team of Ukraine Ruslan Rotan.

At the time when I managed the national team, the national team led by Ruslan Petrovich was our reliable rear - the youth players who joined the main team understood the principles of our game without any problems.
Later, the youth team not only regularly trained personnel for the national team, but also achieved high sports results. The semifinals of the Youth Euro and the historic first participation in the football tournament of the Summer Olympics will forever be written in history. I am sure that the coaching experience of Rotan and his staff will bring a lot of benefits to Ukrainian football," Shevchenko said.
