The legendary Croatian winger Ivan Perisic is preparing to leave Hajduk Split before the end of the transfer window.
According to Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, the parties decided to terminate the contract. Perisic was removed from the first team by the decision of head coach Gennaro Gattuso. The 35-year-old Croatian did not travel with the squad for the second round match of the Croatian Championship against Lokomotiva Zagreb.
Perišić has been playing for Hajduk since January, in the last part of last season he played in eight matches and scored one goal.
The Croatian media reported that Barcelona's new head coach Hansi Flick, who is familiar with the player from his time at Bayern Munich, is interested in Perisic's services.
