Georgia and Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili is one step closer to joining Liverpool this summer.
According to Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, Liverpool's representatives arrived in Spain on Wednesday for talks with the Bats and the 23-year-old's representatives.
Initially, it was expected that after joining Liverpool, the Georgian goalkeeper would remain in Valencia on loan for one season. However, a new option is being discussed. Now Liverpool prefers Mamardashvili to get used to English football, so he will be loaned to Bournemouth. According to the club's plan, Mamardashvili will replace Alisson as the team's number one within one to two years.
