Kryvbas head coach Yuriy Vernydub told what he expects from his team's return match with Czech side Viktoria in the 3rd qualifying round of the Europa League to be held today in Pilsen. It will be recalled that the first meeting of the rivals ended with a 2-1 victory for the Czech team.
"We came to the return game in a good mood. We rely on our strengths. We are determined to win here and advance to the next round.
There must always be faith. My task as a head coach is to convey this attitude to each of my guys. They must also believe in victory, go out and achieve the result we need.
The defeat against Karpaty? This is the Ukrainian championship, nothing more, and now it's the Europa League. We understand that we are having a difficult month, we are constantly traveling: Ukraine, Czech Republic, Slovakia. It is very difficult. Moreover, unlike Victoria, we don't travel to matches by plane, but by bus. We have to cross the border for three to four hours. But this is not a problem. The most important thing is that we are a football club from Ukraine that has been working towards its goal and will play the return leg in the third round of the Europa League on Thursday, and then in the playoffs. We will not give up on our dream, but will go all the way," said Vernydub.
