Girona midfielder Viktor Tsygankov could indeed swap sunny Spain for Foggy Albion this summer.
AsFootball 24has learned from well-informed sources in Spain, Tsygankov rejected an offer from one of the Premier League clubs, which was ready to pay 30 million euros for him. At the time, the Ukrainian argued that he was comfortable at Girona and that there was no need to change teams.
Amid fresh rumors of possible disagreements with Girona over a potential transfer, the club's management is showing complete calm. If Tsygankov does want to leave this summer, he will not be put in the way, provided that the clause, which is 30 million euros, is activated. Dynamo Kyiv would receive 50% of the future sale.
Meanwhile, Michel is doing his best to keep Tsygankov in the team. The coach no longer wants to lose important players, and he considers Viktor to be the best player in Girona's current squad.
